Cu Chi is well known as a heroic place during the war against American army. It was an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers…
And it was continuing built over 25 years later. It was an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers. In places, it was housed up to 10,000 people who virtually lived underground for years…. getting married, giving birth. During the American War the entire area of Cu Chi was designated a free fire zone and was heavily bombarded. From 1988, two sections of tunnels have been open for visitors.

8:00 – 8:30: Pickup at the hotel or other locations within the city center area. Departing to Cu Chi Tunnels, 0n the way, the tour guide will supply and explain about the overview of Cu Chi tunnels. After 1 hour for driving to reach Cu Chi Village, you know more details how Viet Cong build it, how we could win the war when we lacked everything even food, medicine and exactly what happened in that area during the war time. The Cu Chi Tunnels provided safe haven for soldiers and thousands of Vietnamese during the Vietnam War.
After 2 hours visiting combined historic tour site and battle field, bus will stop for lunch (you will pay by yourself), then back to HCMC. End tour. About 13:00 to your hotel.
